Reusable Chemex Coffee Filter, 2pk
Coffeesock

Available in: 3 cup or 6-13 cup

Each box contains 2 reusable filters of the same size.

Single-use paper filters leave dust, and synthetic nylon sacks may be leeching chemicals into your coffee! Not to mention, it gets needlessly expensive to buy new filters all the time. CoffeeSock filters are a reusable organic cotton alternative that are clean, safe, and last a year or more with regular use. These certified organic cotton filters aren't just for those who want to reduce their household waste or their household expenses, they also absorb some of the oils created by coffee beans, but let the acids seep through, so you get a clean-tasting cup of rich coffee without any paper taste.

How does it work?
Cotton absorbs some of the oils released from coffee beans yet lets acids pass through. The resulting cup is clear, crisp, rich, and robust. You get all the acid of paper brewed coffee, without the paper taste, and all of the richness of French press, without the heavy oiliness.

To Clean: empty filter of grounds (compost when practical), rinse until water runs clean, wring out excess water, and hang to dry.
Periodically (2x Month) boil in fresh water for 10 minutes to remove coffee oil buildup, or if filter is otherwise dirtied.

Why support CoffeeSock?

CoffeeSock was started by a couple when they ran out of Chemex filters and were inspired by their trip to Costa Rica to use a fabric filter instead. Due to their success, they moved on to making organic fabric filters to fit as many coffee makers as they could think of, and now use their booming business to support their local ecosystems in Texas.
